REX | IKEA
Frontend developer
2024 - 2025
Worked on a 3D home planning tool for IKEA, focusing heavily on
TypeScript and React.js. I developed complex business logic to support
configurable home layouts, helping users design personalized living
spaces. Used Git and GitHub for version control, and implemented
automated workflows with GitHub Actions to streamline development
and deployment. -
Modity | tretton37
Frontend developer
2019 - 2023
Constructing a customer-facing dashboard for Modity's clients, offering
convenient access to download invoices and visualize statistics through
tables and various charts. The charts were crafted using ChartJS within a
web application deployed on Azure via Kubernetes and Docker.
Leveraging React and TypeScript, the frontend communicates with the
backend via an Apollo GraphQL server. For quality assurance, we
employed the React Testing Library for unit tests and Cypress for
end-to-end testing. Additionally, I contributed to feature design despite
not being a professional designer.
Moreover, I initiated a project to develop Modity's new public-facing
website. The website, built using NextJS, Tailwind CSS, and Mantine UI,
aims to enhance user experience and brand visibility. -
IKEA IPEX
Frontend developer
2016 - 2019
In this project, I collaborated closely with UX designers, management,
and testing teams within a large group. Together, we designed and
developed a planning tool tailored for sofas and shelves. This experience
exposed me to agile methodologies within a sizable team, presenting
both challenges and incredible learning opportunities.
Utilizing HTML, LESS, and JavaScript, I contributed to the ongoing
development of this project. Despite joining a project already in progress
for several years, we continuously added new features and content on a
monthly basis while also maintaining and refactoring existing code. The
dynamic nature of the project kept me engaged and allowed me to
acquire valuable insights and skills along the way.
