Fredrik holds an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from KTH and has 20+ years in system development, the last six as a Data Engineer and data architect. He designs and builds scalable data platforms on Azure and Databricks, lakehouse and medallion architecture, Kimball dimensional modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines in Python and SQL, orchestration in Data Factory, Unity Catalog, data quality controls, monitoring, IaC and CI/CD, taking them from architecture to production, including cost optimization of Databricks clusters. He integrates data from enterprise source systems via API, ERP and message based patterns, and turns business needs for reporting and analytics into models people actually use.
